A Cube TIC Ltd is inviting Expressions of Interest for membership of its Impartiality Committee.
Impartiality sits at the heart of credible certification. As a Global-ACI members accredited certification body operating under A Cube TIC & ACT, A Cube TIC Ltd is committed to ensuring that every certification activity we undertake is carried out with objectivity, independence, transparency and freedom from conflicts of interest.
Role of the Committee
The Impartiality Committee provides independent oversight of our certification activities and helps safeguard against threats to impartiality. Its responsibilities include:
- Reviewing potential conflicts of interest arising from our certification decisions and operations
- Assessing and monitoring risks to impartiality across the business
- Advising the organisation on matters that could affect confidence in certification
- Conducting an annual review of the impartiality of our evaluation, certification and decision-making processes
Who We’re Looking For
We welcome interest from experienced professionals and representatives of relevant stakeholder groups, including:
- Industry associations and trade bodies
- Conformity assessment and certification professionals
- Government or regulatory bodies
- NGOs and consumer organisations
- Manufacturers, suppliers and users of certified services
- Other interested parties with a stake in impartial certification
A Cube TIC Ltd seeks balanced representation on the Committee, so that no single interest predominates in its deliberations.
How the Committee Operates
- Meets at least annually, with participation possible in person or online
- Members are expected to act independently at all times
- Members are required to sign confidentiality and impartiality declarations before taking part in Committee activities
- Candidates should demonstrate relevant experience, integrity, and a genuine commitment to the principles of impartial certification
