Join our Impartiality Committee
A Cube TIC Group · Expression of interest
A certification is only as valuable as the trust it inspires. And trust is built on impartiality.
That is why A Cube TIC is looking for professionals and stakeholder representatives willing to join its Impartiality Committee: an independent body that ensures every certification decision we make remains objective, transparent and free from conflicts of interest.
Why impartiality matters
A Cube TIC is an accredited certification body. Our commitment is simple to state and demanding to uphold: every certification activity must be carried out with objectivity, independence and transparency, with no interest of any kind allowed to influence its outcome.
The role of the Committee
The Committee is the independent, external eye on our work. Its task is to identify early anything that could threaten impartiality and to help us prevent it. In practice, it:
Conflicts of interest
Reviews potential conflicts that may arise from our certification decisions and activities.
Risks to impartiality
Assesses and monitors risks to impartiality across the organisation over time.
Advice
Supports us on any matter that could affect confidence in certification.
Annual review
Reviews every year the impartiality of our assessment, certification and decision-making processes.
Who we are looking for
The value of the Committee lies in the diversity of its viewpoints. We are therefore looking for people with different backgrounds and perspectives, drawn from:
- Industry associations and trade bodies
- Conformity assessment and certification professionals
- Government bodies and regulators
- NGOs and consumer organisations
- Manufacturers, suppliers and users of certified services
- Any other party with an interest in impartial certification
Our aim is a balanced membership, in which no single interest can prevail over the others.
How it works
Serving on the Committee is a manageable commitment, but a highly valuable one. At a glance:
| Meetings | At least once a year |
|---|---|
| Format | In person or online |
| Guiding principle | Full independence of judgement at all times |
| Formal commitments | Confidentiality and impartiality declarations, to be signed before taking part |
We ask candidates for relevant experience, integrity and a genuine commitment to the principles of impartial certification.
How to apply
If you have the right expertise and want to help uphold credible, objective and impartial certification, we would be delighted to hear from you.
