Installers of anchoring systems in accordance with UNI 11900:2023

AJA is accredited by Accredia to issue certification for Anchorage System Installers in accordance with UNI 11900:2023.

UNI 11900 defines the tasks and responsibilities of anchorage system installers. The standard identifies three levels of competence:

  • Basic installer: a professional who can install anchoring systems but cannot carry out inspections;
  • Intermediate installer: a professional who can install and periodically inspect anchoring systems but cannot carry out extraordinary inspections;
  • Advanced installer: a professional who can carry out extraordinary and periodic inspections, as well as install anchoring systems.

To take the exam, you need to show:

  • Proof of a degree that matches the job profile;
  • A training course certificate that matches the job profile, as required by the UNI 11900 standard;
  • Certificate of training in working at height and theoretical and practical use of fall protection PPE for at least 8 hours;
  • Have carried out a minimum number of interventions depending on the profile as required by UNI 11900.

Only candidates who have successfully passed the document examination are allowed to take the certification exam.

The exam consists of:

  • Written test
  • Oral test
  • Practical test

In order for the certificate to remain valid, within two years of the date of issue, the installer must provide evidence of having participated in training activities, of having carried out professional activities, and of having correctly handled any complaints and/or disputes.

The certification is valid for four years. In order to renew it, the installer must provide evidence of having participated in training activities, of having carried out professional activities, and of having correctly handled any complaints and/or disputes.

We also inform you that a special agreement has been signed for members of the ASSOCIAZIONE LINEA VITA (LIFE LINE ASSOCIATION).
